The Miss Hibiscus Pageant Project

The Miss Hibiscus Pageant is a Main Street Vero Beach project. The queen’s responsibility is to empower other women and youth. Miss Hibiscus is to be engaged in social work and to encourage positive change in Indian River County, she is a goodwill ambassador. She is expected to present Vero Beach with her talent and beauty in the best way possible.

New doors will open for Miss Hibiscus and she will have more opportunities to explore. This is a chance for the winner to make a mark in our community, to become a local celebrity.

Girls 15-19 can sign up until March 28th to compete for the honorary title.

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR CONTESTANTS

  1. Contestants shall be between 15 and 19 years old, single, and residents of Indian River County. Contestants under 18 must have a Consent Form signed by a parent/guardian.
  2. Contestants must have a Sponsor and said Sponsor will be responsible for paying the $100 Entry Fee if Application is received by March 9th. $125 March 10-28th.
  3. Contestants will be judged on stage presence, poise, community service, personality, and personal interview. There will be no swimsuit or talent competition.
  4. A recent color photograph should be attached to the application. (Photos may be used for publicity purposes).
